Issue
An existing metal detector has become obsolete and malfunctions frequently. In addition, the manufacturer's repair parts supply has ended. We expects to replace it with an inspection system being more sensitive and less prone to malfunctions.
Solution
We replaced it with the latest metal detector being less susceptible to influence from surrounding equipments and able to stably inspect even with high sensitivity.
Background：Considering replacement of existing system due to aging.
Foreign metal bodies may be mixed in with products for cleaning. Clips and staple cores have been found in clothing pockets, and gusset needles in futon and sheets. Existing system's obsoleteness, frequent malfunctioning and end in repair parts supply lead to consideration of replacement.
Reason of installation：It's been desired to detect small metallic foreign bodies with a more sensitive inspection system.
For our customer’s and on-site worker's safety, replacement of existing inspection system was desired with one capable of detecting even small, thin metal objects. After hearing from other factories about System Square's systems with stable and high-sensitive inspections further with few malfunctions, we decided to introduce a metal detector.
How it works：Sensitivity improved and operation stabilized. Additionally ease of use satisfies operators.
The new system is less prone to malfunctions than the existing one, since it can detect even small metallic objects with improved sensitivity and is less susceptible to the influence of surrounding equipments. This has reduced interruptions to work, which is a big help. The touch-panel operation screen is also easy in use, satisfying on-site workers.
